Terms of Use
Last updated: August 3, 2026 · Applies to Amble for iOS
Licence notice. Amble is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. That agreement governs your use of the app. The terms below are supplementary and, in the event of a conflict, Apple’s standard EULA prevails.
1. Using Amble
Amble is a personal walking journal. You may use it on the Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service and Apple’s standard EULA. The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
2. Your content is yours
Everything you write in Amble — your walks, notes, moods, plans, name, and photo — belongs to you. We claim no rights over it and, as described in our Privacy Policy, we never receive a copy of it.
3. Amble Pro subscriptions
Amble is free to use. Amble Pro is an optional upgrade that unlocks your complete walking history, all poster styles without a watermark, reminders for walks planned with friends, and the full set of nature tags.
- Amble Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) and, where available, as a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Exact prices are shown inside the app before purchase, in your local currency, and may vary by region.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period continues until it ends.
- The lifetime option is a one-time purchase. It never renews and is never charged again.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if one is offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
4. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. We cannot issue refunds directly. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something in the app went wrong, please write to us as well — we would like to know.
5. Health and safety
Amble is a journal, not a medical device. Step counts and distances come from Apple Health and are approximate. Nothing in the app is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing an exercise routine, and pay attention to your surroundings while walking.
6. Availability
We aim to keep Amble working well, but the app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Features may change between versions, and iCloud syncing depends on Apple’s services and your network connection.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Amble is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country or region.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated. The current version always lives on this page, with the date of last change at the top. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
